Eighties Movie Tattoos for you 80s Babies

In honor of our five-year anniversary with my boyfriend Frank, this post is dedicated to him and his eighties movie themed tattoo leg sleeve. When we first met he had virgin skin with not a spot of ink, since then he has come a long inked way through his own tattoo journey and has won his artist, Mike Carro, Lead Partner of Undead Ink numerous awards from various tattoo conventions.

He collaborated with Mike who is a big movie and comic buff on the concept of doing an eighties movie leg sleeve while working on Frank's Indiana Jones portrait, this piece serves as the anchor for the leg sleeve.

Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom
This is Frank's Indiana Jones Portrait Tattoo,
NOT a real life picture
This movie portrait tattoo alone is a four-time award winner in categories such as 1st place for Large Color Portrait at United Ink's Flight 915, 1st place for Realism at Saratoga's Tattoo Expo, 2nd place for Best Portrait at The NYC Tattoo Convention, and 3rd place for Best Color Portrait at The Villain Arts Minneapolis Tattoo Convention

A round of applause is in order here!!
Crowd Cheer

The eighties movie themed leg sleeve also includes Karate Kid’s Bad Boy Mike Barnes, The Outsiders' Dallas Winston, The Breakfast Club’s John Bender and Rocky Balboa from Rocky III which is his latest addition and is a work in progress.
Mike Barnes: Karate Kid III

Dallas Winston:The Outsiders

John Bender: The Breakfast Club

All of Frank's tattoos are all done by the same artist which is very rare. His body of work is a good reflection of Mike's walking portfolio. Scarface or ET might be the next pieces to make the leg sleeve but you will have stay tuned and join my mailing list and follow me on my IG @ms_queenskitty to find out!
