His & Hers Couples & Tattoos

Some people say couples who Play together stay together...

Others may believe couples who Drink together stay together...

When you live the Inked Life, it's couples who Tattoo together stay together...

Depending on the dynamic duo you will have shared interests, hobbies, and enjoy the same recreational activities.

Some couples like to express their bond through tattooing. I can't say that it's necessarily my Bag & Cup of Tea but if that's your thing more power to ya...

To Infinity And Beyond.

I have come across some cute concepts worth sharing:

In researching  couples tattoos it brought to mind that my boyfriend and I may not exactly tattoo together but we do share the same tattoo artist and a passion for ink.

We love the culture of body art and both have an extensive tattoo collection.
Also, some of our tattoos have more things in common then I would have ever thought.

My father's name Spyridon
(doesn't get any more Greek then that)

We both have tattoos inspired from one of our parents

1st Place Winner: Black & Grey Portrait

This one tattoo alone has so many firsts:

• Frank's 1st tattoo is of his mother
• His tattoo won his artist Mike Carro from Undead Ink
• his 1st award: 1st Place for Black & Grey Portrait

His & Hers: Black & Grey Marilyn Monroe Pieces

His & Hers: Two Guns...Bang Bang Baby

Valkyrie Angel & Skeletons In The Closet

His & Hers: Skulls

Alma Atribulada
Spanish for Troubled Soul

As a tattooed couple we have even made into

Skin & Ink's Tattoo Magazine

from United Ink's Summer Vibe Festival

Although we lead different inked paths and none of these coincidences were intentional just comes to show how INK can UNITE us.

Marilyn Monroe does Halloween Horror "Trick or Treat" Dark Side

This year was the first year I attended the Urban Tattoo Convention at Industry City in Brooklyn, New York. I really enjoy checking out new shows that I have not yet attended before. It was also the first time I ever entered my Marilyn Monroe Skull Tattoo into the Horror Tattoo Contest Category and lo and behold she placed Third for Best Horror Tattoo, way to go Marilyn!! Below you will find myself and the award plaque. I have also included my reference that served as my inspiration for this particular piece, everyone always asks me where I come up with my tattoo ideas. I have been a Marilyn Monroe Fan since I can remember as a little girl and wanted something that reflected that dark side of her beauty and not the traditional glamorous pin ups that you will most commonly see. For you Marilyn Monroe fans that like a little something out of the norm, Trick and Treat yourself to some fan artwork on Instagram @marilynmonroearts! Check me out on my Instagram @Ms_QueensKitty for my latest tattoo updates and follow me by email below             >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Fun Times & Tattoo Conventions

As an avid tattoo collector, attending tattoo conventions is one my favorite things to do in the little free time I have. The last tattoo convention I attended was United Ink’s Flight #915 held at the Cradle of Aviation on Long Island this September. I enjoy seeing people wearing their artwork and different artists being showcased. I also like to see what different vendors will be at each show and make unique purchases that add as a momento from each show I get to experience. When I attend tattoo conventions I also compete in the tattoo contests that my pieces are best suited for in the proper category. At this show my Marilyn Monroe half Skull Tattoo won First Place for Black and Grey Small Portrait, its nice to take home an award to my tattoo artist Mike Carro from Undead Ink whose shop is also on Long Island. This will be the second time my Marilyn Monroe piece wins First place in the same category this year.
